  Third vintage I've tried recently from this producer, and the third unique vintage expression I've experienced. This is a relatively dark fruited, deep and textured Franc. The typical tobacco and pepper characteristics are forward, in a good way. Nice length and balance with integrated tannic structure. Feels like a mix of old world character with the roundness and silky middle of a new world red.

  Accidentally left it open overnight on the counter. Recorked in the morning. It had lost some of its interest, but held up remarkably well.
