  • It's OK. Not for the long term, and perhaps not for the short either. The Waitrose label Sauternes (Château Suduiraut 2007) is providing much better value both for the short and medium term (both are UK supermarkets "own-label" wines, in case you are wondering). I'm getting pears, apple pie, and honey/lemon strepsils. Maybe it's the vintage. This is my first Sauternes from 2010; seems fairly light.
