Luscious fruit mixed with botrytis aromas and good acidity, this is a classic Sauternes, and so ready for drinking. Better than the 2017 offering from Sainsbury.

Better than I remember from last time. Citrus, pineapple, touch of caramelised orange cake on the short finish. Fresh, simple & enjoyable sauternes from a UK supermarket. £12 half bottle. Can't argue.

Apricots and pine apple to add to my previous note, was better with a slightly more pungent brie I had, than the Roquefort.

Pleasant enough cheap sauternes, not too sweet, decent balance.
Complexity or length not worth a mention.
£12 half bottle.
