Was a good wine except brett was bordering on too much. I don't mind a hint of band-aid, but this was pretty strong. I would drink this soon and decant at least an hour.

This wine started very "bretty" Certainly needs to be decanted (maybe ~1 hour). It did settle down into an aromatic very fruit driven drink. Very long, good acidity, dominated by cherries, raspberries, chocolate, with Kirsch finish. Compelling and hedonistic, if you can be patient and decant. Should age nicely for a while (great fruit and acidity). A very nice wine

Medium brick garnet. Stinks of reduction right out of the gate but settles back into remarkably fruit driven aromatics with fresh prune and blackberry, as well as spicy sausage and seaweed in the background. Similarly youthfully fruit focused in the mouth, with a juiciness not expected in a CndP of this age. This is coming around!

Color was Pinot-like transparent. The first impression is the barnyard funky smell (in a good way). Cherries and menthol on the nose. Tart red fruits and cranberry on the taste. I likes this a lot. Probably in a good drinking window for another couple of years but delicious now.

Saturday at S2's House: Nearly transparent. A real stinker on the nose. Vibrant acidity with tart cherry. Almost Burgundian on the first glass, then the black tea and Garrigue emerge. Lots of cinnamon.
