  • Blint hade jag aldrig gissat CS. Aldrig! Hade bensäkert gått in med Merlot.

  • Very french tasing. Would never have guessed Italy. Bit of barnyard funk but blows off. Nice but different. Drink now.

  • An incredible combination of supreme elegance, undeniable seductiveness, and tight-rope balance. Beautifully bright, saturated garnet. A little muted, even after slow oxygenation for several hours, this opened up in the decanter to show a nose quite fresh for the wine's age: herb garden, seashore, plum fruit, and trace balsamic, molasses, and menthol notes. Here is a really nice balance between ripe fruit, warm secondary notes, and greenish herbal terroirish stuff. Envelops the palate with a fantastic silkiness that comes from an exquisitely infolded structure; age has done this wine well. Yet there is still that serious concentration and persistence "bringing the thunder" as Gary V. would say. Started to really take off with even more air, deepening and sweetening on the nose as a slightly roasted aspect emerged, while expanding further on the palate.

  • Aromatic nose of dried berries, tobacco, leather and woodspice. Medium-full bodied with firm tannins, balanced acid and fair fruit. Finishes well but still needs time.
