  Time had fared pretty good with this one. Hefty nose of bruised apples, coffee, sherry and hints of toffee and raisins. Although it probably has seen better days it was still very enjoyable. Palate was more freshness and vitality, though we are clearly still talking about a 49 year old. Great depth and a layer of fine fruit over dried fruits, nuts, coffee. Saline and long finnish. Some years left here. 92- 93p
