Friday late night drink with Davyd. Screw-cap bottle. Pop and poured. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of dried flowers, earth, red cherry, and hints of smoky oak. Developed. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol, medium- tannins, medium- body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of earth, red cherry, strawberry, cranberry. Medium- finish. Good quality. Overall taste is easy on the mouth and refreshing, but lean style and towards being dilute. Not for further ageing. Drink up.

Very light in glass, swirling strawberry/raspberry on nose. A gently structured pinot in the Victoria style - ripe fruit, attractive and approachable. Acids nicely controlled, harmonious and good value

Very light strawberry red colour, almost watery. Then really rather pretty nose full of red fruits. The palate leans towards the lines of the appearance rather than fragrance though. It is undeniably very drinkable, but if it were a person I might describe him or her as "inoffensive". Decent fruit, some grip at this stage and a short, forgettable, but by no means regrettable, finish. This is a light wine, but not necessarily in a way that would tempt one to describe it as an elegant one.

A light cherry style which is rewarding and pleasant to drink. Soft light tannins with a delicate finish. Certainly not a complex wine. Simple, fresh and clean. Went well with juicy lamb cutlets.

Dilute, but ripe strawberries, mint, medium length. Attractive without and wow.
