Nose: rose petals, game, meaty, peppery, plums, cherry tomato, smoke Notes: this is a good demonstration to show that good wine making and terrior can go hand in hand to deliver a good experience to the drinker. The nose shows good traits of the appellation with hints of game and meat together with a good amount of fruit and floral notes. Medium bodied and drinking extremely well now. I must say I'm very lucky today as this is a US label in Asia but the condition of this wine is unbeatable, the cork is perfect and the fill was great. This brought us an a lively and vibrant wine that outperformed by expectation significantly. The boudots is probably the best Cru in Nuits Saint Georges and also one of the rare ones that can give you a fine and elegant nose rather than a rustic and savory nose. This was excellent in all aspects and really deserves some praising. I believe the wine is within the prime drinking window and I would consume this over the next 5 years in order to get the best experience. Drink: now - 2027 Rating: 91-92
