  • This really is such a stellar wine, just outstanding. My second bottle in less than a year, and tasted just the same. This is rich, multi-layered, and complex, with a whole helluva lot going on. Nose is snappy, smoky, exotic as hell. Mouthfilling, rich, and very long on the palate. This is probably the best White Burgundy I have enjoyed in quite some time; it has it all. 5-14-18-9: 96/100.

  • Popped and poured. Right out of the gate, the best white Burgundy I have had in quite some time. Beautiful shot-gold yellow color, just BRILLIANT. Oily. The nose is fabulous, with grilled nuts and light citrus around the edges. Wow!!! Beeswax and honey, too. Incredibly deep. Amazingly, it is even more stunning in the mouth, with an ever-changing melange of fruit flavors that run the spectrum. Sensation of liquid fruit just sinking into the tongue that seems to go on and on and on. This is perfect right now, fully mature, probably capable of more ageing, but why, when it is so awesome right now? Hard to beat for value, considering how high Burgundy prices can go for more vaunted bottlings that probably would be hard-pressed to beat this. Just has all the bells and whistles you hope for in fine wine. 5-14-18-9: 96/100.

  • At tasting. Brief note. Pours a medium straw yellow in the glass. Nose and palate are in good balance showing honeyed lemon, smoked almonds, crushed hazelnuts, white florals, and waxy chamomile. Oak is well integrated but lends a nice touch of vanilla and spice to the mineral driven and well weighted midpalate. Long finish is all honeyed citrus and stone fruits with a decidedly mineral inflection at the backend. Really lovely. Had two separate bottles at this tasting and both showed the same. Lovely

  • Excellent balance. Well integrated oak. Tingling minerality. Would benefit from some more years. Succulent.

  • An excellent example of what the finest Meursault has to offer. This is mineral driven, sweet with lovely aromas of citrus & peach. Its a delight drinkable now for next few years.
