Liked a lot for a 2016 - took an hour to open up in the decanter, but really nice stone fruit, minerality, and orchard fruit. Nice finish, likely can improve a bit based on the time to open up.

Maison Louis Jadot (wine ark alexandria): Butter, cream, plenty of polished oak, sweet spices in the mouth it's spiced, rich, tightly wound and quite closed. With time it picks up some fleshiness but this is for me needing time. Note with time a beautiful jubey peach and lemon sherbet joins the oak and spice. This fruit travels to the palate. Very good.

The nose was floral and zesty with sweet spices giving way to ripe stone fruits, hints of lime, minerals and dried flowers. On the palate, I found soft textures, which were quickly contrasted by drenching minerality, hints of pear and inner floral tones. The finish was medium in length and a bit dry, showing young stone fruits and hints of spice.

This was great. Had some flash but better than I was expecting for the vintage

Maison Jadot Cellar Visit and Barrel Tasting (Savigny-les-Beaune): Barrel tasting. Similar rich flavors to Narvaux, with apple, roasted nuts and nut butter. Slightly fatter, even if not necessarily more concentrated. Tough to assess its potential.
