2nd bottle from a 6 pack, this White Burg was contrasted with a 2017 Jadot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Les Combettes. Just gorgeous in complexity, power, and finish. Drink through 2030 or so.

1st bottle from 6 purchased. Consumed over 2 days, this wine shows deft wood notes in the background, with spicy orchard and citrus fruits, white pepper, and slate-like minerals. The firm acid spine keeps the wine taut and intentional on the precise and mineral-laden finish. Drink through 2028 or so.

no notes, remember this being quite nice... in the middle in terms of brightness / lift vs. richness / body... of course not as good as Lafon's, but then again that is a high bar

Quite young and primary though this shows a richness and seamlessness that provides lots of pleasure already. Classically Meursault with a fatter profile to the fruit and even some nuttiness. Has the balance and stuffing to age for a decade or two.

Everybody Likes a Good Pair... Matched 2009 and 2010 Red Burgundy (House of Nanda - Chicago IL): Tasted double blind. Plenty of apple and nut butter with vibrant energy that will reward a year or two in the cellar. Rich and fat, with good weight. Nailed this blind- correctly identified as (1) Meursault, (2) 2017, (3) 1er Cru, and finally (4) Charmes.
