  25012023 - CNY lunch at Wun Nam with the crazy vinos 😝. My bonus blind bottle at the end where everyone guessed right 😦! Rather disappointed with this after the enjoyment of the 2013 vintage. Nose was rather oxidative although still concentrated and powerful - plum, baked cherry pie, blueberry, chocolate & oak. Great texture and mouthfeel however felt this has too much sugar residue. Too sweet & can be cloying. Needs more acidity and tannins to back it up

  Beautiful full dark berry nose. On the palate black berries, some meaty notes, dried herbs and exotic spices. Full bodied with soft tannins and a deep structure. Powerful and elegant at the same time. The finish is long and juicy.
  A beautiful example of a great Australian Shiraz - definitely a must try if you see it anywhere.
