Despite the opulence, power and high alcohol it is fresh and focused. Intense pear juice, anise, candied ginger, honeyed. Wonderful crushed rock mineral notes, and delicate lemon peel. Toast (no new oak though). Nice crisp acidity gives lift to the weighty palate. Cork 15.0% abv.
NB Grenache blanc blend. Other grapes are Clairette, Rousanne, Picpoul and Bourboulenc.

Medium yellow colour; attractive, slightly spicy peach/apricot fruit, medium weight and good length. Lacks a little definition and perhaps not as lively as previous bottles, but still very enjoyable.

A mid-yellow colour; quite full on the palate, with peach and apricot flavours, good acidity providing balance and a fairly long finish. A very enjoyable wine.

Quite sweet on palate but with decent acidity that paired well with the seafood sashimi.

Medium yellow colour; quite full and well rounded, with peach and melon fruit, good weight and a long finish. An attractive wine now.
