This went downhill somewhat and though still rich with dark berries, also presented slight green aftertaste that detracted from the previous experience.

I was really impressed with this wine. 70% Cab. Sauv. and 30% Merlot, aged for 18 months in French oak. Dark opaque ruby, with violets, plums and blackberries on the nose, which later evolved into more herbal and coffee aromas. On the palate it is smooth and velvety, with serious weight. Drinking beautifully now, the wine had a nice balance, ripeness that isn't over done and a medium finish with sweet tannins. A very fine effort, somewhere between Bordeaux and Tuscany in style.

Lots of black and red fruit flavor and smooth as silk. Highly unusual for such a young cab. Most excellent.
