Black berries, tobacco and a hint of leather. If you, as I, love Bordeaux blend this is a really nice vine. Let it air for at least one or two hours and the vine will lift to a higher level.

Mature Israeli wines tasting, 2004-2009 vintage, NIS200+ (my home): double decanting to an empty bottle, sediments removal and back to original bottle. consuming an hour later. transparent dark red-brown colour dominant earthy-dusty & ripe fruits aromas with secondary & tertiary notes full bodied, firm tannins, nice acidity, good harmony, rustic ripe fruits flavours, long alcoholic aftertaste. a bit over its peak as fruits level starts to decrease. this wine is best 3-7 years from vintage, though quite enjoyable even after 9 years…
PS - 20 hours later, one glass left in the bottle: surprisingly, the wine didn't get too oxidised and was still very very enjoyable...

Clos de Gat tasting (Bin 281 (organised by M. Raab)): dark red-purple colour developed earthy fruity aromas with secondary notes full bodied, firm tannins, nice acidity, good harmony, ripe fruits flavours, long aftertaste. Good potential. can age beautifully 5-8 years more. now still young and fruity without any secondary/tertiary flavours.

Off-line in London w/out London CT:ers (http://www.tufnellparktavern.com): Non-blind. Had immediately. Licorice and red fruit on the nose. The palate shows a very well and firmly structured wine of distinction, complexity and length. In it's early drinking window and should develop quite nicely. We all agreed that this is a Musar without the (wonderful) funk. Not at all rendering this less wonderful, just more "pure". A wine to seek out!

Medium to full body, deep ruby color. Intense red fruits, spicy oak and herbal aroma. Black cherry and black currants complements by dried plum palate, long spicy finish. Open about three hours in advance. Serve 18º - 22º. Drink now.
