Nice nose and entry of fresh vanilla followed by watermelon, cranberry skins, herbs and a touch of tobacco. Round and creamy and a nice change of pace rose.

Fully loaded floral, herbaceous, earthy, and meaty bouquet. Great acid, vibrant, lush, rich. Pairs with any meal spectacularly, turkey, beef, mushroom vegetable soup, etc. 89-90.

Young Winos (Veritas - DC): Light watermelon color. Clean on the nose with white cherry, strawberry and white pepper. Crisp and peppery on the palate, with some saline elements to accent the strawberry fruit. Still maintains a creamy texture. A blend of Merlot and... damn, forgot the other grape variety.

New at Kenaston wine ~20$ 14.5% - This is a rich style rose that is light in acid, but rich in fruit, approaching a syrup texture, but not overdone...but close. Nose is light with light berries...Palate is creamy/strawberry notes with some rose floral qualities.
With sharper food - something with a little acidity - this mellows the wine and improves by +1...eg - nice crisp salad...Drinking solo, this is a little flabby for me. Maybe 1 or 2 yrs in bottle will help.
