Starting to fade in Complexity, but none the less tasting great! Still a big backbone, and great yellow stone fruit. Enjoyed with Black Drum filet and vegetables. Yum!

Either the other tasters don't know what good aged Riesling should taste like, or I've lost my marbles. obviously, I'm voting for the 1st choice. This is excellent Riesling for it's age, and also for it's provenance. I found 3 of these in a close out bin in a small store for $12/each. Stupid good deal. This wine is still in my glass after 3 hours and a few small plates of Thai food in my belly. There is still loads of freshness and acidity here. 2ndary aromas indeed, this wine has been released a few times from the winery. Don't believe the critics, this wine is still very fresh. zippy laser focus. Yellow plum, mellow peach, golden apple, and terrific slaty richness. I think this wine has many years to soften even. Any vintage herbal character is gone, and this wine is still evolving at hour 3. Stupid good for $12.

9.5% alcohol. Opened and served immediately. Straw to light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of fodel, apricoat and grapefruit. Flavors of peach, tangerine and light sweet cherry notes. Fairly bright acidity, light to medium body. Drink or hold.
