  Un style bien boisé, avec du cèdre, et une bouche qui assèche un poil en finale malgré un fondu des tanins. Cassis, notes viandées, épices, et cet élevage toujours marqué.
  En bouche, il a de la strcuture, certes de l'equilibre malgré la chaleur et l'age avancé, mais à mon gout, trop de bois. Je pars sur un Syrah leone oire Ciste pour la luxuriance du fut et le côté sudiste. Eh non... Le CS et son cèdre aurait pu me mettre sur la piste de la provence!

  Avec son nez cuiré et ses petits fruits noirs il m'évoquait le sud et bandol particulièrement; puissante et généreuse, fougueuse et fraiche, cette aromatique laissait envisager un vin bio/nature sortant des sentiers battus, ce que la bouche confirmait ensuite avec sa finale toute en mineralité saline et dynamique. Ce vin a du relief avec son attaque ample et ensoleillée, ses tanins polis par le temps et cette sensation de terroir omnipresente derrière. Avec sa personnalité sombre (cuir, sous-bois, fumé, menthol, poivre, non pas qu’il soit austere, mais point charmeur), il lui faut un plat qui ait un peu de caractère, un bel agneau, un tajine ou une daube provençale …
  Il semble être a son summum, il ne gagnera pas à etre garder trop longtemps.

  Delicious, deep and smooth. On the nose ripe fruit and spice.
  Well balanced, smooth tannins and a solid structure; this magical Cornaline is at its peak drinking maturity. Fresh ripe cherries and cassis with just enough spice come through.
  Open one to two hours before drinking. One of the best to pair with a rich Mediterranean dish, such as chicken and olives.

  Dense aromas of dried flowers, spice, cedar, cocoa and dried cherry as well as effusive dried herbs. There is a juicy core to this relatively massive and dense wine with a dusty, plummy tannic finish.
