Mourad SF: Honeysuckle, ripe peach and lemon, Apple Jacks, dried apricot, olive oil and some subtle candied nuts. Not too cloying, but certainly presenting itself with an up-front viscosity that skirts a syrupy richness threshold. Pulls back the ripeness in time with decent energy and drive to display flavors that are light enough to carry on through the finish without burdening the palate with unnecessary or sluggish weight. Not incredibly complex or tiered in its presentation of flavors, but satisfying and fun nonetheless. Not something to overthink, but hits the yum factor nice enough.
Gains an extra point for pairing awesomely with beignets! Drink now.

Deep yellow gold color. Ginger, honey, ripe fruit and mineral on the nose. Sweet with beautiful fruit flavors and a lovely acidity to balance. Pure, luscious finish. 4.5/5

Forward, earthy botrytis, floral, and apple sauce nose. Medium-sweet plate with chlorinated flavours and a favourable fruit-cup finish.
3/5

Tasted this wine during the Bordeaux 2012 Masterclass Tasting at the Tower Club.
Yellow in colour with nectar notes. Sweetness balanced with acidity, but lacks complexity.
