A very characteristic Albarino from Rias Baixas. Stone fruit and tropical aromas on the nose. A very light wine with a quick finish. The acidity is very pronounced and there is a fair amount of tannin for such a light wine due to the thick skin and generous pips of the albarino grapes. Over all a good representative of the varietal.

Very basic, if well-made for what it is. But it's very soft, lacking the acute saline acidity and cut that usually defines good Rias Baixas for me. Very pear and flowers, short finish. Nice enough for the price, which is a bit lower than most.

Not as acidic or as laden with minerals as some albarinos I have had in the past, so I was a bit disappointed. Perhaps just mismatched expectations. It was certainly drinkable, and of a great quality for the very low price. There was some acidity and mineral, but was overtaken by peach and tropical fruits. It had a roundness and butteriness to it that I often associate with barrel aged whites, but I'm not sure this saw any oak.

Intense fruit, floral notes, medium body, tropical/coastal flavors

Clean and crisp, citrus, stone fruits, good body, and that wonderful Albariño "maritime" character.
