Signature sesame, citrus, lemon oil and nut fruit. Abundant acidity that gave light to a precise and elegant Batard. It fleshed out more muscles in the glass. Drinking in a very good spot now. 93-94

The nose on this was intoxicating! Beautiful floral, peachy notes, citrus. A bigger wine versus the Chevalier, sweeter and more fruity notes coming through. More feminine. But lost in terms of complexity to Chevalier. Lovely texture, almost nectar like.

This is a "big" wine by all normal standards, but not by the standards of the world's finest white Burgundies. Compared to its heady peers this has the size to compete but instead focuses its pedigree on elegance. It has a light golden color that belies many fine years ahead of it; a delicate nose to match, with flowers, minerals, citrus, and white fruit; lovely notes of medicinal and distillate; a great acid backbone, sappy, with a medium Burgundy bite when fully aired. Lithe, elegant, balanced, yet concentrated enough to have with an extremely long, long flavor.

deep golden coloured, quince, orange peel, minerals, citrus, nuts, oak. On the palate great poise and nice acidity. Fully mature of course. This can only loose with more time. Optimal stored bottles possibly hold for some years. Pierre Rovani at TWA gave a drinking window from 2002-2007 and 91-94 Points from cask in 1997.
