  • A deep golden yellow fills the glass. The nose is all about toasted coconut, lemon oil, vanilla and golden apple. Toasted coconut leads the attack with all the other elements cleanly powering through. The flavors aren’t too big for the oyster stew and both lift the other to make for a complete meal. 14.9% alc. With oyster stew. Highly Recommended.

  • No real notes, but the golden apple color does carry over to the nose and palate where toasted coconut comes through deftly, yet distinctly. A truly fun and interesting wine. 14.9% alc. With several double and triple cream cheeses in the company of Rodney Young as we watch “The Winding Road” after mint juleps during the Kentucky Derby. Highly Recommended.

  • Golden delicious in the color, on the nose and in the mouth; such an incredibly deeply colored Chard! The apple is bright and crisp with the toasty goodness of baked apple pie crust and butter. Somewhere toward the finish the tang of tangerine comes to the fore for a bright and lingering finish. Drinking this now is delightful, but it may well carry for another year or two. 14.9% alc. With potato and corn chowder. Highly Recommended.

  • The wine is rich with coconut, backed apple and baking spices. The finish is toasted coconut. Rich and complex. With halibut. The wine is too powerful for the fish. Recommended.
