Last of these, and 15 months after the last note. Less harsh than I recall, which may be attributed to the oak settling in, but lots of oak, butter, smoke and pear. Very low acidity, making it a tad hard to match well with food. Soft, but heavy. As much as I like these pinots, this is not quite to my taste.

Hazy greenish yellow. Smokey toasty wood with tropical fruits. Soft in texture, low in acidity. Very ripe pears and pineapple on the finish, with a touch of harshness.

Poured blind. A smoky, marshamallow nose with a glycerine texture. Rich and fattened up with smoke note.
