I was very pleased. The comments below all seem to be spot on. It was smooth, soft and beautiful but also a bright juicy nose and full flavor. I also agree with others suggesting it could stay in the cellar a couple more years. That said, I wouldn’t hesitate to crack my last bottle now. I’d recommend pairing with a hearty and flavorful pasta or 72%+ dark cocoa.

Violet in color. 14% ABV. Black fruits, iron, flowers and game on the nose. Medium to full bodied with strong acidity. Rich and savory on the palate. Flavors of blackberry, olives and black cherry. Somewhat restrained compared to previous vintages but the wine picks up weight on the long finish. Drink over the next 3-5 years.

(Efeste Jolie Bouce Syrah Yakima Valley) A smoky, earth-driven wine with notes of iron and crushed flowers. It’s elegantly styled with pure, supple fruit flavors. 100% Syrah. Boushey Vineyard. 14.9% alcohol.

Forgot this was in my cellar. Very good at this point. Side note - the bottle is very thick so very heavy.

The value of restraint ieven in 2011 is evident.
Acidity and structure suggest this has a few years till its peak
