PnP. Medium dark red. Nose very much dark fruit driven. On the palate this is intense but not that interesting. None of the finesse and complexity of the Marcassin Vineyard pinots. Good wine but not much more than that at age 11. No idea about further aging.

Kiawah Trip 2019; 8/24/2019-9/4/2019 (Kiawah Island): Tasted Blind - More aromatic lift than # 1 (Blue Slide), still cherry focused but more red fruit and less depth and blue fruit than # 3 (Estate). Aromatically it had probably the most lift.

Bought and stored since release, this wine showed extremely well. It has the structure to go 3-5 years easily but it's in a great spot now

PNP. Better after an hour, when it filled out with a rich mouthfeel, powerful fruit, with nice earthy undertones. Drink with decant.

Beautifully refined and giving bouquet; mouthfeel didn't quite match -- slightly harsh. Perhaps could benefit from another year or two of cellaring.
