  Decanted for 30 minutes. Medium garnet color with hints of bricking. Mostly dark red cherries on the nose with a touch of baking spice and cedar cigar box. Similar flavors on the palate. Medium+ acid and fine tannin. Drying finish. Was expecting a bit more complexity at this point but still, very enjoyable overall and plenty of structure for additional aging.

  Medium garnet in color. Lifted aromas of red berries, cool pine/mint, florals and spice. Sweet and silky red fruits give way to hint of leather with fine grained tannins, medium acidity and a floral finish.

  Die Flasche ist jetzt den dritten Tag (!) geöffnet und heute spürt man erstmals das Potential des weins. Also : unbedingt dekantieren. Die sehr präsenten gerbstoffe geehen jetzt zurück und fleischig würzige Aromen treten in den Vordergrund Eher floral und vegetabil als fruchtig. Das ist schon gut wenn man diesen immer noch sehr herben tabakgeprägten Geschmack mag. Sehr langer intensiver Abgang
