See Papiers below. I often believe CT reviewers declare a wine as past it, too early. On this occasion I agree. It’s lost some of its complexity. So I’ll be drinking up,the rest

Antinori Dinner with Allegra Antinori (Margot, Loandon): A year and a half since we tried this last and is showing its age and actually given this is not a such a good vintage is on the way down. With the freshness gone is a bit on the dull and unimpressive side. At least the oak is assimilated more. Light citrus, quite a bit of honey touches and the color really shows the age too. 89 and drink sooner than later especially when compared to the 2016 vintage

2 hours upon first opening into BB&R Bordeaux glass (“Leaf” day): Medium lemon to the eyes.
Ripe lemon, cream and almost pineapple like notes but not over the top. The tone seems slightly tuned down by the blend. Some oak too.
Consistent notes on palate, good acidity good flavours and good finish edging almost on bittersweet sensation. Well made.
91-92 points.
