Even after 2+ hours of air, just too much reduction which ruins the wine. This bottle or flawed winemaking (which would be rare for Dujac)? Perhaps time will alleviate this issue.

Dujac is an incredible producer across vintage and vineyard. 2012's Beaux Monts sports a beautiful bouquet of both blue & black fruit, sous bois, and stemmy spice. Medium-light body, with that translucent ruby color, bright acid. Good finish. On release this wine was significantly reduced but I see little trace of that now – today this is a fantastic wine.

Burgundy Dinner (GC): Blind. Light coloured. Quite stemmy and stalky, some smoky ash, redcurrant and some autumn leaf notes. The palate is red fruit driven, with some fruit sweetness and quite mild tannins. Good length and approachability.

So primary- just jumps out of the glass. surprisingly very welcoming though obviously young. That dujac nose is present and there. Can't wait to see how they develop.

Stems, spice and red fruit. Nice but uninteresting on the palate.
