Pleasurable, but lost within the line-up. Showing the stems, but lacking the usual vivacity of Dujac. Somewhat muted (particularly the aromatics) on this occasion.

92-93 points potential, obviously very young but lots of style to comment on: Very stony at first with iodine/blood/iron tinge to the fruit that shows red cherry coulis-type sappiness. Juniper berries in the high register make this very "pretty" at the moment. The more ethereal side of Vosne, for sure, oozing class. My guess is this will never be a particularly hard/structured wine but should show more midpalate fat in years to come! Lovely!

Tasted over 3 hrs -nearly semi-translucent dark red minimal clearing -moderately aromatic sour black cherry faintly herbal -med+ acidity cuts through an otherwise creamy texture, med wt faintly spicy earthy black cherry, med tannins -not a lot of complexity at the moment, hopefully will blossom in a few years
