  Nose: subtle but engaging perfume of morello cherry, sweet earth, and fine herbal notes of sage and thyme. Bit of floral note and bitter cocolate round it out. Palate: moderate length and fine texture. Silky layers of cherry and turned soils. Finish: medium and offering more of dark red fruit notes. Dark tannin is still present in the finish.
  
  Very good, but not nearly the Vosne typcity that I had hoped for. The spiced elements were closed up today.
