Violets and rose petals on the nose. A little polish, and no shortage of mid-palette concentration and intensity. A very decent drop worthy of greater attention...

Graham's 2010 Barolo dinner (Portland): Lovely melange of fruit, herbal and savoury qualities. I really liked the combination of inner concentration and excellent drive without seeming too serious. Just a leeetle bit of sweet oak coming through at the finish. My #2

2010 Barolos at the Portland (The Portland Restaurant, London): Lovely nose. Wonderfully floral. Reminds me of violet Trumper shaving foam with a hint of mint.
Nose maintains the wonderful floral quality, a little iodine, full body, but the tannins kick in.
