  Red fruit on the nose. Tart cherry, some tar & resin. Long smooth finish with touch of crisp acidity to keep it fresh. May be in prime drinking window now. Excellent if you like Barolo.

  Decanted for 60 min, served with smoked pork chops. Excellent, nice structure. Nose of roses & red fruit. Tart cherries with lots of acidity on the palate, medium body. Lots of life left!

  Medium-deep garnet in color with no signs of aging. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes of roses, orange peel, loam, dried herbs, leather, truffles, minerals & some tar & hint of cedar in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of sweet cherries, strawberries & plums with mushrooms, herbs, spices & minerals. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well with decanting & extended airing but even at 12 years of age it could still benefit from additional aging.
