  At first it smelled corked and tasted dull. Needs 15 minutes. Then it was great for the next two hours. Had next to a 2003 pian del oreno which I preferred.

  Vin grenat aux reflets tuilés qui a atteint son plateau au niveau tertiaire. Il dégage de subtiles notes de terre humide, de feuilles mortes, de champignons et présente un léger arôme de pruneau. En bouche la même subtilité accompagne des tanins fondus sur un arrière goût amer et de cuir. À mon avis, il n'y a plus de raison de conserver plus avant ce vin - il est bon maintenant en cette période d'automne accompagné d'une assiette de champignons sautés et de saucisses aux fines herbes.

  earthy and full bodied. A perfect time to drink. Paired with grass-fed beef stew and the complement of the two was perfect.
