deep golden colour; very good. nose: mineral notes plus stone fruits (mainly peaches); some fennel & herbs. medium intesity. taste: medium (+) acidity. soft peaches; quit erobust structure but not overdone. Serious and balanced. Medium bodied. medium length finis (with tart and sweter notes). Excellent. opened in right moment.

Suggest to leave this wine well alone for at least 30 minutes after opening to allow it to settle and find its balance. Strong yellow colour and a nose with a strong hint of vanilla, reflecting the oak involved. Not overpowering though, nose in addition hints at fruit, I would say red apple. Palate, while indeed rich on vanilla is still balanced with nice fruit, again some apple and also more tropical hints, as well as a nice acidity. Often times not a great fan of oaked Chardonnay, but this wine manages to retain a nice balance and very enjoyable whole.
