Yellow gold. Expressive fruitiness on nose and some unexpected sweetness on palate. Pleasant wine not hot not alcoholic decent balance, age sign but no premox at all. To drink now, unless you want to try more aged notes but not really my style. Fear with more age this can become almost sweet dry wine

What a pretty wine, that colour is glorious. Nose had a little citrus, vanilla, a little oak and a little hint of tropical fruits and nuts. The palate was so smooth, perfect balance, nice body, more citrus, melon and a hint of sweetness. This is drinking superbly and, sadly my last of a case of 6, wish I'd kept more as I drunk most too early, this cost me less than £30 a bottle @laywheeler and well worth seeking out to try and #giveanewwineago these guys produce some wonderful reds but don't overlook their whites. 92 points

A private dinner at a friend's (Warmond, NL): Screwcap, 14% ABV. Solid Chardonnay, well put together, not a lot of terroir typicity but impeccably made, everything in place, well balanced and seamless, leesy complexity, good but not excessive weight, ripe acidity but a mineral core, good length.

Attractive nose. Full bodied. Lots of ripe fruit. Shows its alcohol though (14%). Fulsome still on mid-palate and through a long, fruited finish. A lot of character and intensity of flavours.
