Great stuff! decanted a couple of hours and that helped a lot from the first sips. A bit funky on opening but really grew with time. Tannins are very much softened now - drink with an hour decant or hold five more years

Decanted for about 45 minutes. Initially some mustiness but it evolved into a really nice bottle with great acidity, mellow tannins and earthy tatstes of mushroom. A great medium bodied Pinot that's down well over time.

En l'honneur d'Iegor, une bouteille achetée lors de leur dernier encan... Un nez un peu oxydatif, un peu de tomates séchées, avec aussi des notes plus agréables de sous-bois, d'épices et d'herbes de Provence. La bouche est d'une bonne concentration, douce extraction, assez puissant mais avec de la finesse et une belle complexité, une finale suave sur la cerise et des notes de garrigue presque rhodaniennes. Atypique, sans doute à cause du millésime, peut-être de la conservation, il reste profond et excellent. 91 pts
