Nose: fermented dried red berries and leather or shoe polish Palate: leather with musty cherries Tasted with: chicken Bahn mi on day 1 and poached salmon day 2 Overall: since my last bottle was awful (tasted like green olives) I was delighted that this one tasted pleasant. Lots of bricking and prominent flavors of "old wine" this is at the end of its useful life. But still enjoyable tonight. Showed better (in my opinion) than a young low tier Ken Wright pinot tonight. 89 points rated solo by me

Enjoyed 4 bottles with Thanksgiving dinner. Decanted for 90 mins, at it's peak. Smooth, balanced, tannic with a long finish, a wonderful CDP. I will finish the remaining bottles in the next 6 months.

Had with Shepherds Pie. This was a nice pairing. The earthiness of the lamb match the earthiness of the CDP. Nice fruit along with subtle spice and some herbs.
