P&p. Complex aromas along the lines of baked apple, butter, lemon peel, flowers, mown grass, and earth; fresh; appetizing; nice touch of savoriness, but not overtly oxidative. On the palate, terrific fresh tart acidity brings everything together; silky texture, approaching full bodied, and richly flavored, but lifted by the acidity and fresh citrus and floral notes so it stays almost weightless. The balance, freshness, and moreish savory element combine to make this extremely drinkable. Drinking very well, but seems like it would do well in the cellar, too; wish I had more. This is excellent.

Jura tasting with Wink Lorch (Maison Vauron, Auckland, New Zealand): touch of old oak. sour apples. hint of the Jura oxi/cut on nose. a wine driven by acidity, this shows wonderful balance, a steely minerality and a creamy finish. Certainly showing better than the "entre deux" 2001, tonight.

Medium yellow. You can sense very light oxidative notes - some nuts, dried fruit, but also fresh notes of September apples. Linear and compact in the mouth, good acidity, minerally, long finish. Also very good.

Golden color. Tropical fruit and melon notes in the smell. Bright and enticing. Taste adds some spice and minerality/earthiness. Quite enjoyable.
