MoT Masterclass - Oregon Pinot and Chardonnay (Singapore): The nose was very shy here as well. Muted. On the palate the wine was also much leaner than I wished. Petit Monts is a great VSR vineyard and 2012 a very decent vintage. I hope for all people who bought this wine that it will come out of its shell because it is not cheap. 90+?

MoT Masterclass - BurgOregon Experience (Regent Hotel): Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of barnyardy earth, leathery meat, sous bois, sour red cherries, ripe red cherries. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), soft medium tannins, medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of savoury earth, sous bois, leathery meat, crunchy ripe red cherries, crushed stones minerality. Very long finish. Wow very good quality. I guess it's about a 94 pointer for most, but the Burg fan in me pushes it to 1 point higher. Really savoury, yet elegant and soft. Complex elements melding together. Intellectual stimulation + enjoyment. Probably had the benefit of lots of air already since it was the final wine of the tasting. Start of a long drinking window.

Beautiful vosne spices on the nose with floral scents. Quite approachable at this stage and really lovely drink with nice minerality.
