Pop and pour. Medium deep garnet color. Reluctant nose with some cherry tones. Sour, I mean really sour, cherry flavor is primary. Feeling like this thing packs a punch, I look and find it's 16% alcohol! A couple of hours later the cherry isn't quite as sour (but sour is still the predominant character), there's alcoholic heat and a lingering finish of oak. This was on sale today at the local wine shop and they had one more left -- I don't plan on going back to get it.
