Has kept well. Solid. Forceful. Smells earthy. Black tea and crowberry, hints of strawberry seed or dried strawberry, nice acidity in the aftertaste (which is quite long, but not very broad).

A really nice surprise. Literally the only non-gross wine on a resto list, so I took a chance. Straight up, a lovely CM with bright acidity and almost raspberry fruits. Hint of floral - will call it violet to be cheeky - on the nose with some stemminess. Overall, solid CM fruit with a freshness and directness that made this pretty quaffable. Good finish that was proportionate to the wine and continuous. Really was exactly was an on point village CM should be and over-delivereed by high quaffability.

Dull ruby showing a bit of age. Medium viscosity. Muted aromatics for a Chambolle. Hint of red cherries, currant with some earthiness. Multi Layered on the palate with brisk acidity, medium tannins and delicate mouthfeel. Very well balanced, medium finish, but missing the ‘it’ factor for me! Still a very good and well balanced cuvée.

Very light in color, body and style. A small amount of earthiness with no real fruit profile to speak of. The captain of the ship here is the acid. Overall a pretty meh experience from a producer and region I was expecting more from.
