Drinking very well in early '18. Maybe a hint of that green-ish, stemmy house character Lioco had during this period, but not by any means overwhelming. Most of the tannic grippiness has started to subside, so you just get spicy fruit, with some savory secondary characteristics coming out. Very nice wine - more complex than the standard premium Sonoma blend. Probably another year or two at its peak.

Top class Pinot. The bottle states aromas of "sour cherry and cedar bark", and I have no qualms with that. Medium weight, again in agreement with "raspberry and pomegranate" flavors noted on back label. Nice mix overall of riper black cherry with tarter fruits and integrated earth tones. Silky texture, classy clean finish. Certainly in a lighter, elegant style for CA, but critically there is no trade of depth/complexity to achieve that character.
Bottle info: 3.55 pH, 6.3 g/l TA, 22.2 harvest Brix, 30% whole cluster wild yeast ferment, 12 months in 15% new oak, unfined and unfiltered

Fresh, dark pinot fruit with some earthy notes. More burgundian than previous bottles of this wine. Drinks well right now.

Beautiful red fruited, Chambolle like fruit and aromas. Great lacy fruit with plenty of acidity. Good length and just very clean favors. Lovely.

No real notes when I drank this, but it was darn delicious and punching above its price point.
