renown winemaker Renzo Cotarella confirms his ability to craft a very good wine. Balanced, pleasant, round and probably at its peak now. Recommended after an appropriate cellaring. At LT in a rainy day at Easter time

Awesome wine even at this age. The raspberry and dark chocolate sing through. Paired with beef medallions, mushrooms, Marsala, and pan drippings. Unbelievable!!

Dark, tawny color. Decanted 1h30m. Dates and dried figs on the nose. Cherries and some raspberries on the palate, mellow, well-integrated tannins that show still some grip. Some tertiary notes of dark cocoa on the ending. Excellent Merlot from Lazio!

This is not my style of wine, but I have to admit it's pretty damn delicious. I would imagine it's probably in its prime for my palate. There is still a lot of fruit, but some of that baby fat has shed and the core underneath holds up well. I don't find the oak obtrusive at all at this point. It would be fun to pour this blind in some different scenarios. I think it more than holds up for its price point.

Leaning slightly to a more lush new world profile, but still lots of regional character. Terrific!!!
