Opened by Mark. Uncorked but not decanted 3 hours before drinking. Deep black purple color. Blackish red color. The youngest of the 3 Washington bordeaux varietals which we drank. This was very nice. Not as big or rich as I thought it might be. Well rounded with plum, currant and tar notes. Full bodied with a long finish. Only the 2nd wine from rasa that I have had (the other being a Mouvedre). 93 points.

Decanted 10 hrs ( i was told by the folks at Rasa this needed a lot of air, and. Given the poor showing of my last bottle, I was happy to oblige). Deep, ripe and juicy, a much better performance than my previous go round. Very polished and moderate complexity. Could be interesting to see what happens in 5 to 8 years.

This came in next to last in our wine tasting of Petite Sirahs and Petit Verdots. The last place was also from Dionysus vineyard. I started out really liking this one, it has nice tannins and good flavors. By the end of the tasting the flavors had faded a bit though.

Some wine had seeped past the cork, but wine seemed fine.
Despite that, excellent. Needed a decant. Very forward in the mouth. Ripe dark fruit. Some tannins but not overbearing. I wouldn’t wait to drink.
