  • My father introduced me to this beer several years ago and I keep it around the house as a go to choice. I enjoy it because of the low alcohol, the refreshing quality it exhibits. There is just enough tangerine to accent the wheat taste, mixing well together. It's funny to me, as my tastes in beer mirror that of wine. I seek things that are lighter in tone, more refreshing and complementary rather than being dominant and clobbering out the stuff around it, whether it be food or my senses! The citrus and stone fruit tones in this are delicious, reminding me of the tones I would find in say Chenin Blanc or perhaps even Viognier. Dig it.

  • Amber-orange in color & slightly hazy with nice foaming creamy head. Fragrant & attractive nose of wheat, malt & yeasty dominated by citrus notes of orange, tangerine & apricots. Light bodied with balanced, smooth textured, crisp flavors of wheat/malt, yeasty with citrus of tangerine, orange & some apricots. Lingering smooth finish. An interesting & seamless blend between the wheat, yeast and tangerine.

  • On a mid-80s winter day in So Cal, opened this for a light lunch and help in the pursuit to help Carlos shave his head to benefit pediatric cancer. My father introduced me to this beer last year, and I immediately took to it out of my love for all things citrus. I enjoy the lower alc (5%) and the lighter texture that comes with it. In terms of the tangerine essence, it is woven brightly into the zesty flavor of the body, along with a touch of apricot. I really enjoy this beer.
