I agree with Jeff Leve. Despite being 3 years on from that note, and from a half bottle, this has remarkable clarity for a sauternes as well as all the complexity described. Amazing to have been able to retain such acidity and freshness with a moderately high level of sweetness. That is balance for you!

Notes of honeyed apricot, ripe and overripe pineapples with assorted tropical fruits are found in the nose and the palate. There is a line of bracing acidity that keeps everything here alive, adding freshness and length.

Deep lemon in color / almost gold. Semi-sweet and medium body with some musk and orange blossom unfold into flavors of honey and dried apricot. Some acidity here, and a nice balance from the sweetness. A stunning wine!
