I do agree fully with Karl Ek here. This is a more structured and rustic wine compared to the others in the flight. A very good wine, but with a different charm and style.
Funky nose with red berries, rubber, barnyard, lavender, hay, ripe apples, green stalky notes and a bit of peppery spices. Not unlike a lighter Rhône wine.
Dry on the palate with a medium+ acidity, medium body, medium+ tannins and a fairly long and dry finish.
Tasty!

Tasting with the Bojo-heads of Gothenburg: All Crus (except Chénas).
Medium intensity, ruby color. A bit cloudy appearance.
Youthful nose with a medium intensity. Aromas of brett, sour cherry, rowan-berry, lavender, rubber tire, fresh herbs and grass.
Dry on the palate with a medium(+) acidity, medium(-) body and rugged tannins. Medium intensity with flavors of sour cherry, black berry, hay, nettles, lavender and rubber tire. The finish is medium and a bit tart.
A bit more rough and rustic style of Bojo. Drinking very good today but I think that there's room for some improvement with aging. A true food wine.

Freshly picked fruits in a flower basket. Intense wild blueberry and raspberry aromas mix with summer flowers. Fresh, crisp fruit on the palate, good intensity, well balanced by acidity and just a hint of warm spice. Excellent stuff. The epitome of Gamay in its most eloquent livery.

(Jean-Jacques Vincent Juliénas Domaine de la Conseillère) Dark ruby color; savory, ripe red currant, barnyard nose; tart red currant, cranberry, mineral, reduction palate; medium-plus finish

Fruity and tannic style, less refinement, but great stuffing for aging. This is still fresh, very tight, compact. Very long finish.

Tart cranberry, earth, soft texture. Solid little Beaujolais, nearing the end of its ideal drinking window.
