Popped and poured. Beautiful garnet color with slight bricking. Pure pinot nose with no funk. Medium bodied. Tart and scintillating. A delightful wine with many years of life ahead.

Nice ruby color fading to rose. A nose of tart cherries, raspberries and oak/vanilla. The flavor was earthy and dusty with strong fruit and mushroom components. Needs some more bottle aging. The 99 vintage was rated 93 points by Parker yet he did not review the 2000 vintage for some reason. It felt as if the wine was not opening up fully.
