  A lot past its prime unfortunately. Heavy notes of apple and oxidation. My have been storage over the years.

  You know I found this in the cellar today as we we’re having fresh Haddock for dinner and I wanted a white wine to pair with it. I rarely drink white and also I usually don’t add $10 bottles to my cellar as they are just pop n pour.
  So I’m adding this tasting note because it was impressive for a 7 year mainstream Chardonnay to be drinking so wonderfully. No sign of oxidation that often affects bargain whites. Classic Chardonnay notes of citrus, apple and spice. Great acidity to cut thru the buttery topping of the fish.
  I’ve had a few top tier Aubert, Marcassin Chardonnay’s recently and while those are phenomenal I would like to throw a KJ in as a ringer in a blind tasting.
