orange blossom, honey, hazelnuts, almonds, a vegetal note and a mineral background. at palate is round and powerful without any excess of fatness, very balanced, sustained by a nice acidity. long finish.

{cork, 13.5} Mid yellow. Surprisingly dark for something 3 years old, but I'm used to so many young wines under screwcap... Anyway, this smells young enough. Doesn't smell of much at all, actually; some yellow blossoms which emerge only with time and some warmer temperature. Mostly the palate is steely and neutral. Not hugely acidic, and not sweet either; it's a low-intensity granite-like kind of wine that's all about texture and not fruit. Light/medium body? Grey flavours wash over the front palate; it's about chalk and limestone and rocks and battleship paint. Maybe the finish is short, it just seems to fade quickly with the promise of something that never was. Odd indeed.

Clear and brilliant medium intensity lemon yellow. Medium intensity clean and delicate nose with citrus and mineral notes: orange peel, lemon, chalk. Good attack, dry, perfectly balanced acidity, long evolution, very complex, medium-high body, high structure. Long aftertaste of medium-high intensity, somewhat bitter and citric. Somewhat shy in the nose, but it shows an strong character in the mouth.

on the nose sulphur dominates. In the mouth this intrudes on the palate as well which is a little short, there is some fruit hiding there somewhere.
